AppointWomen is a database of talented women from across Australia seeking positions on Australian Government decision-making bodies.
All women registered with AppointWomen are required to fill in our tailored resume to enable comprehensive and accurate searches of their skills/ experiences.
The skills and experience of AppointWomen registrants are numerous and cover many sectors including technology, industry, business and law, through to the community, arts and culture.
How to request a confidential search of the AppointWomen register?
You will receive a confirmation email from AppointWomen verifying your request. You may also receive a phone call from the Office for Women, if any aspect of your request needs clarification.
When the search is complete, the Office for Women will email suitable resumes for your consideration.
If requested, the Office for Women can contact potential nominees for a full curriculum vitae. As AppointWomen is readily available to registrants, it is expected that their on-line resumes will remain current.
You can also notify of future vacancies to allow the Office for Women to provide potential nominees well in advance.

Confidentiality is assured. Nominees will not be given details of a vacancy without your agreement.
You are under no obligation to act upon the nominations provided though AppointWomen.
Generally five working days should be allowed for a request to be processed but you should allow more time for sizable requests. Urgent requests are given priority.
Future vacancies can be notified to allow the Office for Women to provide potential nominees well in advance.
