The personal information you provide in filling out the online form to register on the AppointWomen database and/or in completing an online resume, is collected by FaCSIA for the purpose of registering your interest to be considered for appointment to Australian Government boards and decision making bodies.

By submitting your contact details through the online form to register, or by completing your online resume, you are consenting to your contact information and resume being provided to an Australian Government department without any further consultation with you.

The Office for Women may seek further information from you if an Australian Government department seeks additional information from FaCSIA about potential candidates for board positions.  Your personal information will not be used for any other purpose or be released to any other person unless required by law or you provide consent.

2. If you register with Women on Boards (WOB) Pty Ltd through the AppointWomen website:

By agreeing to register with WOB through the AppointWomen website, you are consenting to your contact information and resume being disclosed to WOB Pty Ltd for the purpose of registering as a candidate for potential board positions.  Please refer to the Women on Boards Privacy Policy for further information about how your personal information will be handled.

3. If you request a search on the AppointWomen database:

The personal information you provide in filling out the online form to request a search on the AppointWomen database is collected by FaCSIA for the purpose of providing you with information about potential nominees for Australian Government boards, and for internal reporting purposes.  Your personal information will not be used for any other purpose or be released to any other person unless required by law or you provide consent.
